* * W I N N E R * * Li Hing Pineapple Cake Recipe
By : Candace Ho Serving Size : 24 Preparation Time : 30 minutes 3/4 cup butter Procedure Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Use 13" x 9" pan Melt butter and brown sugar in pan. Arrange pineapple slices in any pattern in pan and cover with walnuts. Set aside. Beat yolks, add sugar, juice & Li Hing Mui Sauce. Add flour and baking powder. Fold in beaten egg whites and pour on top of pineapple mixture in pan. Bake for 40-45 minutes. Cool 5 minutes and invert on serving plate. Cool completely. |
