Valiente's Li Hing Mui Recipe Contest
Official Rules & Regulations
The following promotion is intended for viewing in the United States and shall
only be construed and evaluated according to United States law. Do not proceed
to enter this contest if you are not a legal U.S. resident, 18 years of age
or older, located in the 50 United States or D.C. You must be at least 18 years
of age and a legal resident of the U.S. to participate.

1. HOW TO REGISTER/ENTER: Beginning at 12:00 AM (PST) on the 1st of each month through 11:59 PM (PST) on the last day of each month ("Promotion Period") you may enter the Valiente's Li Hing Mui Recipe Contest. Entries will be accepted by U.S. mail or via Internet entries. On an official entry form or plain 3" x 5" paper, hand print your name, complete address, zip code, age, Li Hing Mui recipe. Mail in a stamped envelope to: Valiente's Li Hing Mui Contest, 350 Ward Avenue Suite 106-220, Honolulu, Hawaii 96814. Entries may also be submitted online through the official website at: www.VPOTION.com by going into the "Win Recipe Contest" section. You may enter as often as you wish using different recipes, but each recipe entry must be submitted separately, with one recipe per envelope or online entry through the official website, and each entry must comply with all official rules & regulations for the contest.
2. RULES & REQUIREMENTS: Each recipe entry must be an original creation of the entrant and belong solely to the entrant. Recipes that have been previously published are not eligible. All recipe entries must include Valiente's Li Hing Mui sauce (where available). In addition, a simple description on the occasion to best serve this newly created recipe is welcome but not required. Each recipe must include a list of ingredients in order of use, step-by-step preparation instructions (using common U.S. household measurements) and specify the number of servings. A color photograph of the finished product is welcome but not required. (If submitting digital photos, 300 bpi resolution is preferred). Entrants agree to be bound by the decision of the judges, which is final.
3. PRIZE WINNER SELECTION: Drawings will be conducted by a panel of judges from Star Pacific Trading Corporation, whose decisions will be final in all matters relating to this sweepstakes. Odds of winning a weekly prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received during each Weekly Entry Period. Odds of winning the Grand Prize depend upon the total number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.
4. PRIZES: 1st place winner will receive 1 free case of Valiente's Li Hing Mui Sauce (1 case = 12 bottles). Upon notification, winners make pick up prizes at Star Pacific Trading Corporation. 350 Ward Avenue Suite 106-220. Honolulu, Hawaii 96813 if resident on the island of Oahu. Winners outside the island of Oahu will receive 1 case of Valiente's Li Hing Mui delivered via UPS or regular mail.
5. ELIGIBILITY: Employees of Star Pacific Trading Corporation or of their agents and members of such employees' immediate families and household members, are not eligible. Entries not meeting all of the requirements stated in these rules will be disqualified and ineligible to win prizes. All federal, state and local laws apply. Void where prohibited
6. PRIZE WINNER NOTIFICATION: Winners will be notified by mail and/or e-mail within 2 weeks of final judging on the last day of each month. Winners will be required to sign and return within one week an Affidavit of Eligibility and Compliance, and Publicity & Liability Release within 7 days of notification or prize will be forfeited & an alternate winner selected. Winners will also be announced in the "Hawaiian Margarita Newsletter".
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & RESTRICTIONS: If for any reason beyond the control of Star Pacific Trading Corporation (USA), the contest cannot be completed as as planned, including but not limited to technical failures, computer viruses, tampering, fraud, or theft which corrupt the integrity of the conduct and/or judging of this contest, Star Pacific Trading Corporation reserves the right in their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest. Entrants agree to release Star Pacific Trading Corporation and their affiliates and agencies, and their officers, directors, members, shareholders, employees and representatives from all liabilitiy for any warranty or representation concerning the nature, conditions or value of the prizes, and liability for any injury to any person or property which may occur in connection with the acceptance, use and/or enjoyment of any goods and/or services which constitute a prize awarded under this contest. Taxes are the sole responsibility of winners.
8. MISCELLANEOUS: Any form of entry other than as specified in these Rules is prohibited. By entering, you agree to abide by these Rules and all decisions of the independent judging organization. Contest is subject to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Limit one prize per person, household, or eligible e-mail address for the entire promotional period. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entrants who violate any of the official rules or attempt to interfere with the promotion in any manner. If disqualified, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate an entrant's eligibility to participate in the current promotion as well as all future Star Pacific Trading Corporation promotions. In the event of a dispute as to identity of entrant, entries will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the e-mail address by an internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected or incomplete entries, or for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or delay of any type in operations of this sweepstakes or transmission of entries, or for theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate, misrouted, garbled transmissions, or failure of Sponsor to receive entry information for any reason. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this sweepstakes should a virus, bug or other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper operation of the sweepstakes. By accepting a prize in this sweepstakes, the winner agrees to discharge, indemnify, and to hold harmless Star Pacific Trading Corporation and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, suppliers, brokers, retailers and advertising and promotional agencies and the respective officers, directors, agents, representatives, employees, successors, agents, and assigns of all of the above from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, losses, damages, costs and expenses (including but not limited to reasonable attorney's fees and expenses) which the winner, their executors, successors in interest, administrators, and assigns may now have or in the future have or acquire on account of any injury, loss, disability, death or other physical, mental or financial damage of whatever kind or nature arising in whole or in part from or in connection with the possession, use, misuse, and/or acceptance of the prize or participation in any prize-related activities. All federal, state and local taxes on prizes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winners. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. No transfer or substitution of prizes permitted, except as provided herein. In the event a prize becomes unavailable, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to award a prize of equal or greater value. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use winner's name and/or likeness for advertising/trade purposes worldwide, without limitation and without additional compensation, except where prohibited. A list of winners is available on the 5th day of the subsequent month following the end of each contest posted at www.vpotion.com.
