Hawaiian Style Curry

Ingredients:

1 pkg. NOH Hawaiian Style Curry Mix
1 1/2 cups water

In a small pot, combine contents of this package with 1 1/2 cups water and bring to a boil; stirring constantly. When sauce begins to bubble, pour over cooked shrimp, beef, chicken, etc., and serve.

Curry Stew:

1 lb. stew meat (beef, chicken, lamb, etc.)
1/2 cup flour
1 Tbsp. cooking oil
2 cups carrots - cut 1" size
2 potatos - cut into quarters
1 onion - sliced 1/4"
2 celery stalk - sliced

Add contents of this package to 1 1/2 cups water; blend well and set aside. Sprinkle salt & pepper on meat and roll in flour. Using a cooking pot, add oil and lightly cook meat until browned. Add carrots, potatos, onions, celery and cover with water. Boil for 30 minutes and add Curry sauce mix and continue cooking for 10 minutes. Ready to serve.

Hawaiian Style Sweet-Sour Spareribs

1 pkg. NOH Chinese Sweet-Sour Mix
1/2 cup water
1 pound spareribs, cut into 1 1/2" pieces
OPTIONAL - 1 cup pineapple chunks (1" squares)

SPARERIBS:

Combine contents of package with 1/2 cup water; blend well and set aside. Place 1 pound of spareribs, cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces, into a saucepan; add enough water to cover ribs. Bring to a boil and cook 30 minutes, or until tender. Discard cooking liquid. Pour Sweet-Sour sauce over ribs and simmer 5 to 10 minutes; basting frequently. Add pineapple chunks, if desired.

This is a an excellent low cholesterol recipe.

For other meats and dishes: Combine contents of package with 1/2 cup water; blend well and pour over cooked item and simmer 5 to 10 minutes.

Hawaiian Teri-burger

1 pkg NOH Hawaiian Teri-Burger Mix
1/2 cup of water
1 pound ground beef or ground chicken / turkey

*Excellent with ground turkey, ground chicken, etc.

Combine contents of package with 1/2 cup water in large mixing bowl, blend well. Add 1 lb. ground beef and mix thoroughly. Shape into patties. Pan fr patties a few minutes on each side, or until done. Patties can also be barbequed or broiled.

TERIYAKI MEAT LOAF: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place the loaf in a lightly greased / buttered pan. Bake 30 minutes or until done.

Japanese Teriyaki

1 pkg. Noh Japanese Teriyaki mix
1/2 cup water
1 pound meat (steak, chicken, chops, ribs, fish)

Combine contents of package with 1/2 cup water; blend well. Marinate meat (steak, chops, ribs, chicken, fish) for 2 to 4 hours. Barbecue, fry or broil. Baste frequently while cooking.

Optional:

Teriyaki chicken. Boil chicken in water for 30 minutes, or until tender. Discard cooking liquid. Add Noh Teriyaki mix with 1/2 cup water and simmer for 5 - 10 minutes.
