** Li Hing
Salmon Surprise **
Light
baked salmon marinated with sweet salty Li Hing Mui sauce
to bring out those natural mouthwatering juicy flavors. An
inexpensive yet flavorful preparation with all ingredients
found at your nearest grocery store. In Hawaii, go to your
nearest Times, Daiei, 99 Ranch, Foodland or Star Markets!

Ingredients:
Valiente's
Li Hing Mui (2 tablespoons)
Alaskan Salmon steak
Red Wine (1 tablespoons)
Crushed Garlic (or garlic powder)
Lemon
Nori Furikake (JFC Brand)
Black Pepper

Preparation:
Lay
marinated salmon in center of pan on top stove & squeeze
lemon juice over fish. Pour 2 tablespoons Valiente's Li Hing
Mui sauce over salmon along with red wine & crushed garlic.
Sprinkle some black pepper & furikake over Salmon. Cover
pan with stove set to medium heat and pan fry for 25 - 30 minutes
periodically turning over the fish. For stronger flavor, pour
an extra tablespoon of Valiente's Li Hing Mui sauce over salmon
after cooked. Serve with vegetables and rice.

** Sweet
Li Hing Ginger Chicken **
Juicy
chicken with sweet & salty Li Hing Mui sauce to bring out
those mouthwatering flavors. An inexpensive yet flavorful
preparation with all ingredients found at your nearest grocery
store. In Hawaii, go to your nearest Times, Daiei, 99 Ranch,
Foodland or Star Markets!
Ingredients:
Valiente's
Li Hing Mui (3 tablespoons)
1 lb (460 g) boneless chicken
1/4 oz sliced ginger
1/4 oz crushed garlic (or sprinkle garlic powder)
1 teaspoon white vinegar
Chinese parsley
Black pepper
1 tablespoon corn starch
Preparation:
Cut the boneless chicken into 1/2 - 1 inch cubes and put in
mixing bowl. Pour Valiente's Li Hing Mui sauce over chicken.
Cut
ginger into fine slices. Cut chinese parsley leaves and stems
into fine pieces (6 to 8 stems). Add ginger, parsley, vinegar,
garlic and pepper to chicken and mix. Place mixture into a
pot on stove bringing
to a light boil (medium heat) and cook for about 25 minutes.
Add tablespoon of corn starch and stir to thicken gravy. Ready
to serve with vegetables and rice.

Furikake Rice **
Steamed
white rice with a pinch of nori furikake (Japanese seaweed)
topped with a light sprinkle of sweet salty Li Hing Mui sauce
("ume style"). An inexpensive yet flavorful preparation with
all ingredients found at your nearest grocery store. In Hawaii,
go to your nearest Times, Daiei, 99 Ranch, Foodland or Star
Markets!
Ingredients:
Valiente's Li Hing Mui
White Rice
Nori Komi Furikake (Prepared Sesame Seed & Seaweed)
Preparation: Steam white rice in cooker. Scoop rice on plate
and lightly sprinkle furikake seaweed. Pour several drops
of Valiente's Li Hing Mui over rice and serve with main dish.

Red Chili Peppers
Preparation: In a mixing bowl, pour 3 oz Valiente's Li Hing
Mui sauce and add crushed red chili peppers. Stir and pour
into a soy sauce dispenser. Pour over fish, chicken, ribs
for a flavorful and tasty Li Hing spice sauce!
